For Nicholas’ birthday party he wanted to have another sleepover so 3 of his best friends arrived last night at 6PM. I have to say they are a great bunch of kids! At 14 I’d think they would start to be a bit more of a handful but they are still a great bunch; thank goodness
lol
Hannah was pretty excited that she got to hang out with the boys and yesterday Hannah and I had a “secret missions” It included picking up decorations and decorating the house for the party while Nicholas was out picking up the pizza from the store.
For breakfast I made them French Toast and Root Beer (lol)- 2 cases of Root Beer later (6 each), Xtra large Pizza, Candy and 4 bags of chips… funny enough the cake Nicholas picked up they didn’t eat- they found it too sweet! LOL… I found that funny!
Anyhoo, they are outside goofing around on the plasma cars and will be going home around noon.. once they leave I’ll be off to the dog park again and then off to my step-brother’s for family dinner.
For family dinner tonight I am bringing my own food in order to stay on track- Even through all the junk last night and this morning I’ve stayed on track- Yipppeeee!
Hugs.. hope the weather is as good as it’s been here in O-Town!

In the past banks have treated me with the same respect as what they saw in my bank account basically I was treated with little to no respect. Before I left for my trip I met this amazing woman who worked at the local RBC branch here in Stittsville… she was the first to actually treat me not only with respect but gave me respect for myself financially. Today I met with an amazing associate at the bank who gave me a plan on paper and good advice to get on track and have a good financial future.
I started by opening up a Tax Free Saving Account with bi-weekly withdrawals… I love it! I’ll be setting up an RESP account for Nicholas soon and soon after Hannah. Such a small thing and it feels sooooo good!

I always love Thursdays… At lunch my girlfriend Jenn comes over as she works around the corner from me; actually Jenn is Hannah’s Godmom and is moving close to us at the end of June
Yay! Thursday’s it’s my routine as always including Rocky’s walk but then I come home and do a house clean, catch up with Jenn and allocate 1 hour of personal development in the afternoon.
With my new schedule I switched things up a bit today. Took Rocky for his 2 hour walk in the HOT sun (yes, love the weather!) then came home cleaned and cleaned some more.
Then I met with a very vibrant young woman who is a financial advisor with SunLife. We had a lot in common right off the bat… talked about how our lifes have transformed for the better since using the law of attraction our lives, our favourite teachers from The Secret- heck we even subscribe daily to the inspirational quotes from Bob Proctor. I told her about my treasure map that I creatured and gave timelines and income that I am creating right now. I was so stoked to be talking in the present tense that I knew that everything I’ve learnt in the past and learning right now with the SGR program is really working… it was so much fun to talk with someone who “got it” and is also using it in her own life! I also talked with another financial advisor last night with Primerca that also follows Bob Proctor… I also turn to his facebook account for postivity and inspiration and he is also stoked about embarking on the SGR program next week- he is running a 10K this weekend! Good luck… I know you can do it Matt!
I’d like to share with you a couple of affirmations that I repeat many times throughout the day. I love how they hit home exactly what it is that I know is happening to me right now:
I am so happy and grateful now that money comes to me in increasing quantities through multiple sources on a continuing basis.
I demand riches in definite terms. I have a definite plan for acquiring riches. I am engaged in carrying out my plan and I am giving an equivalent in useful service of the value of riches that I demand!
I am also grateful that I have this opportunity to share my feelings and successes through this forum.. it really helps keep my motivated and I love getting the emails from people that read this and inspired to do the same… if we all share the positives in our lives and understand that whatever it is that we desire we can have how much better of a world would we live in?! To know that there is always enough.. that we do not need to become competitive to get what we want… we just need to visualize it first as we are creators, believe that is being created or coming to us right now and it’s ours… If we can see it in our minds, we can hold it in our hands!
All my Love!

P.S…. Oh, after my financial advisor left we came up with an action plan to speak again in August and move forward. After she left I headed to the gym for a grueling 1 hour of weights (lower body) and 1 hour on the treadmill.. All the house/spring cleaning I did today I counted towards my 30 minutes today! …. and I still feel great! Day 2 has been (almost) successfully completed

Today I began my new exercise program…. fun! (seriously!) I woke up and really motivated myself. With the new SGR program my mind is in the most amazing place these days… a quick session of EFT to get over the excuises along with my favourite (so far) story from Rev Michael Beckwith in the SGR program #4 and I knew my day was going to be a success! I could feel it.
I dropped Hannah off at school and took Rocky to the park (yup in the rain) for our 2 hour low impact cardio. Then it was off to the gym for 1 hour of my upper body workout (since it’s Wednesday)- I finished it off with a high impact run at level 3 incline running for 1 hour- man was I killing myself at this point. I pushed past the phsyical pain and listened again to session #5 on Living Life and it helped me soar through the 1 hour- it always gets easier after I hit the 30 minute mark.. it’s that first 30 minutes where I need to really motivate myself to keep going.
After coming home I tuned into SGR’s session #6 immediately (well, after my shower- lol) and learnt all above bringing in money from MSI (multiple streams of income) - AMAZING! and the best part is that I’ve inspired myself to tell my story in a book. I’ve put my original book on hold and want to start with a new story so I’ve decided to move full steam ahead. More to come on that as the days go by buy if you’ve ever wanted to write a book please do it! Think about it…. 1 page a day can result in a 365 page book in 1 year! Imagine that?!
I am just finishing up my day and still so pumped and motivated. I am going to pick up Hannah from school and take her to the park to get in some FUN exercise by playing at the park.
BTW, have you ordered your copy of SGR yet? They also have a great affiliate plan. And it’s so, so easy… I’ve signed up because I know it will be another success and I am loving the program so much that I NEED to share this with EVERYONE!!! (I mean, we ARE talking about Bob Proctor, Jack Canfield and Rev. Michael Beckwith) And I want to personally invite you to jump on the bandwagon. http://partners.thesgrprogram.com/affiliates/signup.php?m=db2bafb3
Have an amazing afternoon and wish me luck on tomorrows workout which will consist of 2 hours combined low impact walking with the dog- 1 hour metabolic weight training (lower body) 1 hour high impact cardio (running/rowing, etc) - 1/2 hour low impact activity with the kids (park, bike riding, hide and seek, etc, etc
Mwahh

I just stumbled upon this video on YouTube from a friend who decided to google and seek out what The Secret was after I talked about it.
By now if you’ve been following my blog I would hope you know and understand what The Secret is.. it’s the Law of Attraction (LOA) but it is nicely explained here within the first 20 minutes. It will also introduce you to Bob Proctor, Rev. Michael Beckwith and Jack Canfield; all who’ve I been talking about (well raving actually!) for the past week.
Enjoy and God Bless!

Tomorrow I start my new program and I am really excited! Really really excited!
My weekend with Nicholas was a lot of fun- Camping was a blast even with all the rain. Nicholas and I ended up going with his friends Kyle family of 4 and I reconnected with an old friend Bev who I used to work with about 8 years ago. All of them joined in last minute and it was an amazing weekend filled with fun and lots of laughter! (and much needed cold beer! LOL)
I have a wee confession to make… Saturday night Tammy I sat up near the fire that has lost all it’s heat until about 2am and when we decided to go to bed I was shivering due to the cold and little heat (well, no heat) so she offered for me to stay in the heated camper that night as there was plenty of room- OMG it was heaven… Yes, I gave up my tent and stayed in the warm camper.. LOL- Nicholas stayed in the camper Sunday night as well… hehehehe… Even with all the rain we hiked all days kept the fire stoked (even with the soaking wet wood) and had a blast!
I was exhausted coming home yesterday afternoon and really enjoyed my hot shower! Funny how I was on such a high and then woke up a bit lacklustered, feeling drained and a bit grumpy this morning. Knowing I really needed a boost, needing something that would bring me back into a postive place I knew just how to make the consious decision to change my mood. I dropped Hannah off to school I took Rocky to the dog park and plugged into through my blackberry Session #5 introduction with Michael Beckwith on Secret Science to Getting Rich Program. Yes, I keep raving about this amazing program as it really lifted my spirits and brought me back into a postitive place where I wanted and needed to be. No matter where we are, now matter what the situation we are creatures that have this amazing ability to think OUTSIDE of our circumstance… I love this! I love how much my life has changed in leaps and bounds since starting this program… have you read the book yet? Have you looked at the program yet? I want you to have this amazing feeling as well! The feeling that I can do anything I want… If I can see it and go there in the mind then I can have it and in my real life… life is so abundant and we are creators of our own lives… I know this to be true because I live it every day.. I am on the road to mastery of this way of thinking so that I have it all just as Wallace D Wattles promises along with Michael Beckwith, Jack Canfield and Bob Proctor.. I love that people are starting to think as creators from the inside out!

What an absolutely incredible day- the sun is shining, the birds are singing; it’s a beautiful God-like day! I just spent the last 2 hours walking through the dog park and each day I am amazing at how spring literally just explodes upon us! Today was one of those days where you can’t help but dance along the way amazing by all the beauty that surrounds us.
Something amazing has come into my life in the past week and I want to share it with you. Have you read The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D Wattles? It’s an incredible book published in 1910 - this little green book has been the study guide for many many great people including all the teachers of The Secret, Lloyd Conant, Earl Nightingale and many many more. I highly recommend reading this life-changing book! It’s a MUST!
Currenlty I am enrolled in a program run by Bob Proctor, Michael Beckwith and Jack Canfield- all are inspirational teachers from The Secret. In Session #2 they teach that there is a science to getting rich. It is an exact science, like algebra or arithmitic. There are certain laws which govern the process of aquiring riches. Once you learn and obey these laws you will automatically become a member of that select group of people who live “The Secret” and you will get rich with mathematical certainty.
I just completed Session #5 yesterday and I am hooked- the difference in my mental awareness and vibration is off the charts! When I learnt that this program was available almost at a 90% discount I had to have it! Bob even guarantees the program 100% and will even give you $1.00 in return if you don’t see changes…. how incredible is that?! Even better…. if you choose to sign up as an affliate of this program it’s set up as a 2 tier reward program! For me, the real difference is in how I feel about myself, my circumstances, knowing that God loves me and wants me to live an abundant life!
Here are a few ways you can start taking advantage of the program today! I only ask that you choose to take action and make a difference in your own life today!
For a copy of the FREE E-book by Wattles: Sign up as a member of my friend’s Brad Cusworth and have access to over 35 free e-books including The Science of Getting Rich http://fear-to-freedom.com/
To learn about the Science of Getting Rich Affliliate program and the program itself (Secret to Science of Getting Rich) please go to http://partners.thesgrprogram.com/affiliates/signup.php?m=db2bafb3
PS: Oh, and did I mention it’s a 50% commission 2-tier program? Plus, there’ll be an additional ONGOING 50% commission on a new continuity program they’ve got. It’s a beauty!
Last I read from a daily post from Bob they are offering the program now in instalments… This program worth every penny was being offered at $2000 and now it’s being offered at $197- it’s just the wake up call we need to get through the recession and start living life from the inside out instead of from the outside in. Start today by unleasing all the potential that is yours. If you are still skeptical, start reading the free ebook at the link above or you can also download it from The Secret’s website. Either way, please please please make the decison to start living a fulller and more abundant life today!
All my love!

Well, I promised yesterday that I would share with you the plan that I have chosen to continue losing the weight and finally uncover the healthy new me. After getting back from the UK I met with a nutritionist and have added the carbs back into my daily eating habits. After getting back I weighed in at 168 and 1 month later I have maintained that weight while still eating carbs!
To me that was good news…. which has given me a renewed faith in a lifetime change which is ultimately what I desire. I have set some very high standards for myself and at the same time have been very realistic with what I know I can do! Part of being realistic was knowing when was the good time to start this new plan. So I decided that May 20th is the right time! Why May 20th? Well, with summer comes many bad habits for me… cold beer, patio’s with cold beer, carbs food, BBQ’s with beer or sangrias, camping with coolers filled with cold beer… are you seeing a trend? Socializing and Beer (cold beer!) LOL- The funny thing is that I am a very active person and more so in the summer but with the bad eating habits I tend to gain weight. In knowing my bad habits I wanted to start summer a bit early and at least get in one full camping weekend in with all the cold beer I wanted- then I’ll be able to get it out of my system and stay on track.
The great thing that is different this time is that I have this time around is that I have started this new blog with believe it or not keeps me completely accountable and there is no hiding from the pics! So the first pic that you will see with the changes will be on June 20th! I think that is more of a promise to me than to you and it will keep me motivated and extremely accountable! LOL
So with my nutrional counselling session and my training program here is the plan:
Monday- 2 hours combined low impact walking with the dog- 1 hour metabolic weight training (upper body) 1 hour high impact cardio (running/rowing, etc) - 1/2 hour low impact activity with the kids (park, bike riding, hide and seek, etc, etc.)
Tuesday- 2 hours combined low impact walking with the dog- 1 hour metabolic weight training (lower body) 1 hour high impact cardio (running/rowing, etc) - 1/2 hour low impact activity with the kids (park, bike riding, hide and seek, etc, etc.)
Wednesday- 2 hours combined low impact walking with the dog- 1 hour metabolic weight training (upper body) 1 hour high impact cardio (running/rowing, etc) - 1/2 hour low impact activity with the kids (park, bike riding, hide and seek, etc, etc.)
Thursday- 2 hours combined low impact walking with the dog- 1 hour metabolic weight training (lower body) 1 hour high impact cardio (running/rowing, etc) - 1/2 hour low impact activity with the kids (park, bike riding, hide and seek, etc, etc.)
Friday- 2 hours combined low impact walking with the dog- 1 hour metabolic weight training (upper body) 1 hour high impact cardio (running/rowing, etc) - 1/2 hour low impact activity with the kids (park, bike riding, hide and seek, etc, etc.)
Saturday- 30 minutes high impact cardio- minimum 1/2 hour activity with the kids- 1 hour walk with the dog
Sunday- REST DAY! Dog still needs walking so a leisurely dog walk with Rocky - usually about 40-60 minutes.
Eating: This is the simple part- it’s all about eating every 3 hours- my main staples will still be protein and vegetables but I will also be adding high fibre fruit and small portions of selected carbs. Keeping with understand my weaknesses I will be cutting out carbs on the weekend. When weekends come along I often let loose a little bit- instead I have added in a cheat meal on Wednesdays (1 meal only and for only 30 minutes).
Duration: May 20th to end of July 25th, 2008. During this time there will be ZERO tolerance for alcohol in ANY form! LOL
Reading all of that might seem like quite a lot and to a certain degree it is but keep in mind that daily already I am walking my dog twice which is a fantastic way to get in low impact walking. The difference for my weight training is that I am bumping it up to 5 days a week now compared to the 3 days a week with the rest on weekends. Cardio is now pumped now to 6 days a week as well but in achievable ratios. My biggest challenge I think will be getting in to the gym on Saturdays so I am thinking 30 minutes outside running will substitute… this I will have to see but I have set goals that are going to push me enough but be completely achievable!
So there it is! The count down is on! So is the drinking of red wine and beer until May 20th (LOL) Once June 20th hits we’ll all see from the photos if the plan is working… if it isn’t then I will look at changing it up and tweaking it until I find a formula that works.
Well, Rocky needs to go out for a walk and I am off to pick up my Hannah so we’ll talk soon.

My son Nicholas left this morning at 06h15 - destination Quebec City… 2 buses are rolling into the city with a jam packed 3 day schedule of fun, fun and MORE FUN!
I am so excited for him! Heck, I remember my grade 8 trip to Quebec City. Now mind you my departure was from St. Catharines so it was about a 10 hour trip or something like that… we had so much fun on the bus and not to mention that it was many many moons ago! LOL
After dropping Nicholas off this morning Hannah and I took Rocky to the dog park for a good run which was fun. It was fun to be out and about so early to be honest and it was WARM with that spring smell in the air with the birds chirping… LOVE IT! This morning got me even more pyched for our camping trip this May! Only 2 more weekends until the season offically opens and we’ll be there!
Once I get home from the May Long Weekend the plan is to contionue on my journey to a new me… I’m really looking forward it as well!
Tomorrow I will share with you the details of that grueling plan that will take me from May to end of July! I am soooo excited to get going but having fun as well eating the foods (especially beer and nachos) that I will soon be giving up for the remainder of the summer. I knew that if I was going to stay on track 100% I needed time to enjoy 1 camping weekend (with a cooler of steak of beer) and some patio get togethers before giving up another summer dedicted to finally getting the new me that my heart desires!
…until tomorrow!
