My Journey to a Healthy New Beginning

March 8th

Today I had an incredible win. Where I was looking to my family to call and share in my amazing success story today (and yes, my babies, Nicholas and Hannah did share in this with me) it was my friends that become that void for me. On top of that, my father sent me a money email transfer for $50 towards my Fiji findraising and got me that much closer.

I also found out that 3 out of 4 of my mid-terms I totally rocked! Financial Management I got 30/30 and my assignment #1 I got 19/20, possible 49% out of the 50% available. In Leadership and Group Dynamics I got 19/20 on my midterm and in Community Development I received a 96%! I did my report writing midterm today, and I am awaiting my marks for Financial and Rish Management Midterm and I have my Recreation and the Environment (which I write next Wednesday/Boooo cause it’s on St. Paddy’s Day) next week.

The win today came from such a precious and unexpected place and I learnt a bit more about who I am and the amazing person that people really do see. Mwahhh!

March 7th

Trying to find the lesson:  Tomorrow is a pretty important day for me and I went ahead and invited my family members to join in the day with me along with some friends.  I allowed the hurt that my family did not reply to me and I allowed those feelings to affect how my mood was and that is unacceptable. Tomorrow, is my 3rd anniversary of being cancer free.  I think the lesson might be that I cannot control how other people behave and I need to know who I am and find that strength inside that I already know I possess. Yes.. the lesson feels right. Tomorrow, I will choose to celebrate life… it’s a great and amazing life and I still have lots to do and see! xxoo
